Welcome
The Dog Days of summer are upon us. Now is the time to start watching for those pesty insects, diseases, and walnut toxicity that affect the fruits of our labor. Recently I have had calls concerning wilting tomato plants. If the plants appear healthy, no yellowing or browning of the leaves, no insects, look around your yard, if there is a Walnut tree nearby, your tomatoes are probably suffering from walnut toxicity. There is no cure, for this condition, and they will die. I recommend next year making a raised bed to put your tomatoes in. They will do fine in a raised bed. See our Events Section for further information on upcoming events. Bean Creek Garden Center is open daily, Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sat & Sun. 9-5. Stop in and visit with us, we are here to help you make your gardening season a successful one.
